They can be grown as high fibre green beans, or dried beans. As a kid in the 60s, my dad grew them for us, so I have grown up with them, as have many other folk. They don’t grow straight, so they don’t suit the chain stores, but they are old school, reliable, good food. They are also a source of valuable protein, carbohydrates, vitamins & trace elements.
