We offer 3 options for waste collection

2. A bulk collection of recycling and garden waste collection for processing into compost. See the online store for details.
3. An ad-hoc / once off collection of recycling.

Our dedication to a greener Cape Town encompasses a broad spectrum of waste materials. Whether it’s recyclables, garden waste, or compostables, we have it covered:

Compostables

Food waste (excluding raw meat), peelings, and more.

Garden waste

Cuttings, grass trimmings, and small branches (no larger than 15mm diameter). No stones or sand.

Recyclables

Clean plastic, glass, metal, cardboard, paper, and polystyrene.

E-waste

Electronic waste, old electrical appliances, light bulbs, batteries etc. Please place these items in a separate clear bag or box.
When you sign up for collections, we’ll provide you with information on when to expect your recycling pickup. Our aim is to make recycling as convenient as possible for you.

Guidelines for sorting your waste

Proper sorting is crucial for efficient recycling. Here’s how to prepare your waste for collection:

Both recyclable and ‘non-recyclable’ plastics are accepted. Place other items in a clear plastic bag or a cardboard box, ensuring items, especially food containers, are rinsed to prevent contamination.
