6 Months collection of kitchen and garden waste for composting, as well as household recycling and e-waste.

This service is currently active in Observatory, Mowbray, Rosebank and Rondebosch, except Rondebosch East. We are extending capacity to increase the areas in which we work.

Collection days:

• Wednesdays for Observatory, Mowbray and Rosebank.
• Thursdays for Rondebosch.

We will collect your garden and kitchen waste, as well as household recycling. You can put out all garden cuttings (except for branches thicker than 15cm) in bundles or bags, and all food and kitchen waste (except for meat, fish and bones) in buckets with lid which will be provided and exchanged with new ones on collection. Please do NOT include any builders rubble, topsoil or rocks and stones into the garden waste recycling. These items damages the composting equipment, and must be avoided at all costs. The kitchen and gardent waste is processed into nutrient rich compost for our farm hubs which are growing vegetables which are sold on the online market and  delivered to your door.
